What is the best food for infant squirrels?

My wife is raising one and feeding it goat milk. What are your thoughts on this and is it a suitable diet for baby rodents? What is the best food for infant squirrels?
The best thing, other than taking them to a rehab center, is to keep them warm, but not too hot (wildlife centers use incubators).

I did wildlife rehab for a long time and the best kind of milk you can give them is goats milk, just like you are already doing. Make sure it is luke warm (body temp) and feed with a syringe and rubber teet. You also have to help them go to the bathroom by tickling both their genitalia and anus with a dampened tissue. You may have to use some vaseline if their tender parts get chapped and sore.

Good luckWhat is the best food for infant squirrels?
You need to contact a wildlife rehabilitator. In most states, you need to be licensed to care for wildlife.
we found baby flying squirrels that got blown from the nest, mom got it by a cat.

our vet said puppy formula. i had kitten formula but she said puppy formula was better for squirrels.

i ended up taking mine to a nature center because i didn't have time.

good luck!
We nursed a baby squirrel on cat milk that we bought from the pet store. We found it while it's eyes were still shut so it was pretty young. I assume the cat milk worked fine because the squirrel grerw up fine.
